Apostle-Elect Bishop Jimmie A. Ellis, III, Pastor and Founder of Victory Christian Center and Arnaz Ministries, possesses an extraordinary revelation of the Word of God. Because of his demonstrated keen awareness of people's needs, he teaches with simplicity and conviction even a child can understand.

By as early as 12 years old, he recognized the call of God on his life and started teaching bible classes. In 1983 he accepted the call of God on his life, and founded the Bible Enlightment Philadelphia Christian Center, which is now known as Victory Christian Center (VCC) – "the Church that the Word is building". Now "The Bedrock of Southwest Philadelphia."

Under Bishop Ellis' leadership the membership at VCC has surpassed eleven hundred souls. VCC is known for Bishop Ellis' powerful teaching and its anointed Praise and Worship. It has over forty auxiliaries and ministries, fulfilling Bishop Ellis' threefold vision: Teaching the Word of God, Winning lost souls to Christ and Providing a haven of rest for weary soul. Over the years, as Bishop Ellis has traveled the eastern coast, he discovered many pastors in need of mentoring. In response he founded the Victory Fellowship of Local Churches, Inc, a network of churches in fellowship with VCC on the east coast. Bishop Ellis serves as Bishop, mentor, spiritual advisor and or confidant to this collective network of pastors and churches.

Notable organizations and churches, both local and regional, have recognized the work that Bishop Ellis has done in the West Philadelphia community. Bishop Ellis has been appointed to serve on the Advisory Board of the International Conference of Local Churches under the tutelage of his spiritual father, Bishop Don Meares.

In his 30 years of ministry, Bishop Ellis has impacted the lives of many and continues in the delight of reaching out to the masses, as the Spirit of God directs.
